pretty pastels

Using pretty pastel shade paper I placed down the leftside of my card, embossed the other side of my base card with swirls & distressed it softly. I used one of saturated canary images & coloured with promarkers, then did some die-cutting borders, frames & corners, then layered then up. ,also distressed one of the frames too.You will see a slight stitch effect on the top & bottom part of this, with a punched out stitched strip which l put lace white/pink ribbon on the side of it,& ran it down the center of the card. Then used pearl brads to hold the smaller of the two frames to the soft green glitter cardstock at the back of it. Then placed this on the pink frame with a sentiment down the side. To finish off I did a soft pink bow/butterfly and if you look closely I have put swirly pearls running down from the butterfly & up from the bow too.
The card was based on a sketch as below from papertake weekly challenge 78

Bingo board

The bingo board above is used in passion for promarkers challenge#191 theme, which I have taken the middle line going across,to use die-cut,free & glitter,ie die-cut frames, free flying butterfly and glittered pastel green corners and background on middle die-cut frame
The colours & image used is for the challenge over on Saturated Canary  challenge 40 Pretty in Pastels.
The stitching effect used was for the challenge over on Whimsy Stamps challenge# 57 Stitch it
The swirls & pearls are for the challenge over on Crafty Catz challenge 176 Swirls & Pearls

Itsy bitsy teeny weeny

This tiny lovenote card I did using a free image from Meljens blog,I designed it so it fits on my keyring holder, so my husband could write on the back before going to work, for when I get up in these easter holidays to me. What a lovely note that is, I diecut my frames using small spellbinders then printed the top one with the free image ,to colour in with promarkers, then distressed it all round the edges. Then with stamped hearts, pearls & the sentiments I matted & layered, and with an extra heart from centre of the birds cutout ,I stamped with flowers and coloured with promarkers. .Then to finish it off I put an eyelet in the top corner so my keyring holder would hold the notecard, LOVELY NOTE to me.
I am entering this into meljens challenge#152-Itsy bitsy teeny weeny as below

Art Deco

I love art deco era,I have most of debbi moors cds to chose from,I made this in mind for the challenge over on http://allsortschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/week-199-deco-delight.html .Doing a side stepper gives you more ways to display your layers. So in mind I have took an image from the twenties off the cd and laid onto die-cut frame to the front part of the card, with a designed lace border onto vinatge coloured paper,& then finshed with co-ordinating made flowers and swirl and a bow to finish this card  off  & leafs too.
So I am entering this into as below

animal print

Creating this card was fun, taking the animal print, borders & frame I designed my card using a mayzyart image and coloured with promarkers.I used my new die to do two corners and layered the back with co-ordinating colour, then matted & layered my image to the paw frame with a die-cut frame at the back of this, as well as down the leftside on the paw border too.I used bright colours as I thought fitting to the animal print I chose.
I would like to enter this card into their Animal Print challenge over on Mayzyart  as below.

Read all about it.

I really enjoyed doing this Open Book for Saturated Canary challenge, using one of her digital images, very hard to choose which one as they are all lovely.
I added a smaller version of a book too in the corner,as its for a read all about it challenge I thought fitting. On the rightside I have put a serenity prayer for the person who this is for can read it too.
I finshed off with bow, crystal embellishment, die-cut butterfly & pearls, and round each of the pages I have edged with peeloffs. Also I cut-out some piled up books to place in the corner under the coloured in image.
So I would like to enter this card into Saturated canary challenge#39 Read All About It as below

spring butterflies

Using a butterfly template card I decorated one by one with punched & sequin flowers, with pearls round the edges. Then Stamped a variety of butterflies I had, either with using promarkers to stamp with ,& some normal,so I coloured them in with my promarkers too. Each one was then cut out, what a job too..then I picked a digi stamp I bought from Saturated designs and coloured co-ordinating,which then got matted & layered .Also put a cluster of flowers in either corner of the templates so my butterflies could fly in their direction. The small leaves were punched but the swirl leaf I die-cut & coloured with promarkers too. To finish off I decided to die-cut some small corners & arranged them down the body of the butterfly as it seemed too plain with nothing there.

The colours I thought represent spring in my mind, with a nice thought that soon the butterflies will be here. So I would like to enter this into Passion for promarkers challenge: Butterflies at the below

Docrafts challenge.Anything Goes

I made this card for the docrafts challenge:anything goes using one of their images off their me to you cds. I diecut the edges and corner and threaded co-ordinating coloured ribbon, then matted the topper onto a spellbinders die frame. I then stamped and embossed sentiments onto the card and a tag which then framed and then two heart tags that l diecuttered, and finished off with some swirl pearls, and two layers of punched edged hearts to the back part of the card. I thought was most fetching for the occasion.
